He says that when was accompanied by his wife to the Athreya Ayurvedic Hospital, he was doubtful of the outcome of the treatment that he was about to take. \u201cI was somewhat sceptical but with an open mind, wanting everything my wife was saying to be true and sincerely wishing for a significant transformative experience that would provide needed therapeutic treatment and set us on the road to improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Patient Name: Tom Wilson<\/li><li>Country: Toronto, Canada<\/li><li>Medical condition tested for:  Dupuytren\u2019s Contracture of the hand<\/li><li>Arrived with Symptoms: Problem with hand activity and movement<\/li><li>Condition after treatment: Considerable improvement in Hand and finger movements<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On asking about his opinion after his visit, he says that it was indeed worthwhile. \u201cI got my wish in every respect, from the paradisiacal, lush setting just outside Kottayam, Kerala, India, the comfortable cottages where we resided for the next 2 weeks\u201d. In addition to the delicious meals, he was pleased by the consistent attention and the way he was tended to by the staff in Athreya. \u201cThe excellent and well-cooked vegetarian meals, the very competent attention from staff, to mention Senyub and Ajash, among many others, in particular\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apart from the regular consultation with his doctors, Tom goes on to give a detailed account on the massages which he received by the staff as a part of his treatment. He says that his treatment was followed by procedures that were assisted and observed by his doctors and the procedures included working on with oil massages every day, that helped him on a great level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He talks about the stomach and leg massages given to him, saying \u201cThe leg massages were intended to make me better able to carry my weight and also succeeded admirably. They carried out a regimen of warm oil and massage treatments to every part of the body requiring it, especially the stomach (Senyub), the hands (Ajash) and the legs (both Senyub and Ajash)\u201d.  <br>\nHe also talks about the regular consultations with his doctors &#8211; Dr. Sreejit and Dr. Jaya Lakshmi. He claims that their careful scrutiny of his health condition and follow ups on a daily basis by played a vital role in his improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tom affirms that the treatment allowed him to see a difference in the movement of his fingers. With the doctors\u2019 efforts, the treatment not only helped in bringing life to his hand but also successfully achieved to maintain its effect even after a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is also quite satisfied that he and his wife made the right decision when it came to the choice of medicine that Athreya\u2019s doctors prescribed him, that set him on his road to recovery. \u201cWe made sure we purchased at a most reasonable price the required medication for the next stages and are extremely happy we did so\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On asking about his opinion on Ayurvedic treatment Tom says that he is definitely looking forward to visit Athreya again and benefit from its excellent treatments as much as he could. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Summarising his brief journey with Athreya, Tom says \u201cThis has allowed me to continue experiencing the benefits of the treatment, something which I expect to extend virtually to the time of our next visit.
