1. How long does the consultation process take?
The complete paid consultation — medical form review, audio notes, and live call — takes 20 to 30 minutes in total. The free consultation timeline depends on Dr. Jayalakshmi’s schedule and your availability.
2. Is the ₹3,500 fee refundable?
The consultation fee is non-refundable but is credited towards your stay at Athreya if you proceed with a booking. It reflects the doctor’s personal time and attention given to your case.
3. How long after payment will I hear from Dr. Sreejit?
Dr. Sreejit typically responds within 6 to 48 hours. He replies personally — most often in the early morning (3–6 AM) or evening (4–9 PM). Please allow for this window before following up.
4. What happens if I need more than one call?
If your situation requires further discussion after the initial consultation, an additional audio call can be arranged. Our goal is complete clarity — your healing begins with complete understanding.
5. Can I fill the medical form offline?
Yes. A Word document version of the medical form is available for those who prefer to fill it offline. Please email it to us at theathreya@yahoo.com once complete, and send us a WhatsApp message to confirm receipt.
6. Is my health data kept confidential?
Absolutely. All personal and medical data collected is voluntary, encrypted, and never shared with any third party without your express consent. Athreya follows HIPAA-aligned privacy practices for all guest data.
7. What is the minimum stay at Athreya?
For a first experience of Ayurveda — 14 days. For addressing a specific health condition — 21 days is recommended. For significant chronic conditions — 28 days allows the deepest healing. Your doctor will recommend the right duration for your situation.
8. How do I get to Athreya?
The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport (COK) — approximately 95 km away. We arrange airport pickup at ₹6,000 (Cochin) or ₹10,800 (Trivandrum). Flight details should be shared with us after booking confirmation.
