Personalised Ayurvedic care designed to restore hormonal balance, support reproductive health, improve skin and hair wellness, stabilise mood, and enhance your overall vitality and wellbeing.
A woman’s body goes through constant shifts — monthly cycles, hormonal changes, pregnancies, emotional phases, and metabolic transitions.
Ayurveda understands these rhythms deeply and offers a personalised way to restore stability and long-term health.
At Athreya, our Women’s Wellness programs are guided by Dr. Jayalakshmi G BAMS, Director, who specialises in women’s hormonal and reproductive care.
Your treatment is customised, doctor-led, and built around your unique body type and clinical needs.

You will be assessed and treated directly by Dr. Jayalakshmi G and the medical team — no generic therapy packages, no assumptions.
Every plan is tailored after:

Our setting is non-touristic, quiet, and medically supervised — ideal for hormonal healing.
Many of our guests return each year for continued regulation, rejuvenation, or post-pregnancy support.

Athreya’s Women’s Wellness programme offers personalised Ayurvedic care for PCOS and PCOD, hormonal imbalance, fertility concerns and postnatal recovery. Every programme begins with a detailed consultation with our physicians, and treatment is planned around your health history, body type and current condition.
Ayurveda looks at PCOS and PCOD as an imbalance in metabolism, digestion and hormones rather than only a problem of the ovaries. Depending on your assessment, treatment may combine Panchakarma detoxification, internal herbal medicines, a prescribed diet, yoga and changes to daily routine. Results vary from person to person, and Ayurvedic care works alongside, not instead of, the advice of your gynaecologist.
Ayurveda aims to support overall reproductive health by improving digestion, metabolism, hormonal balance and stress levels. Your physician will assess your history and tell you honestly what Ayurvedic care can and cannot do in your situation. We do not promise conception, and we recommend continuing to work with your fertility specialist.
Kerala has a long tradition of postnatal care after childbirth. It typically includes warm medicated oil massage, herbal baths, nourishing food and plenty of rest, to help the mother recover her strength. At Athreya, postnatal care is planned by our physicians around the mother’s health, the type of delivery and the time since birth.
Women’s wellness programmes at Athreya are guided by our physicians, including Dr. Jayalakshmi G and a sixth-generation holder of the family’s Ayurvedic lineage, who writes on Ayurveda for PCOS and hormonal health. Your daily care is provided by our medical team and trained therapists.
In many cases, yes — but it must be planned with full knowledge of what you are taking. Please share all your current medicines and recent reports before your stay. Our physicians will review them before prescribing anything, and you should not stop any prescribed medication without advice from your own doctor.
Panchakarma and many detoxification therapies are not given during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, or think you might be, please tell us before you book. Our physicians will advise you on what is suitable, and in most cases recommend planning a treatment programme for after the pregnancy.
A minimum of 14 days is usually recommended, so that there is enough time for preparation, treatment and the start of recovery. For long-standing concerns such as PCOS, 21 days or more allows for deeper work. Your physician will recommend the right length after your consultation, and you will leave with a diet, routine and medicine plan to continue at home.
